The aim of the project is to create a new generation of recyclable, circular economy-compliant, energy-generating, high-efficiency noise barriers.
The benefits of the project are the planned creation of a new generation of environmentally friendly, sound-absorbing, and renewable energy-generating noise barriers. The acoustic properties of the new generation of sound-absorbing walls will allow designers to design sound-reducing barriers along roads and railways, considering the current noise level and reducing it to the required values, thus improving people’s acoustic comfort and health. The electricity generated by photovoltaic cells will contribute to climate change mitigation, and the use of recycled materials will reduce CO2 emissions.
